Holiday Wishes 2023

You may be familiar with the LiveJournal holiday meme community “Holiday Wishes”. I’ve participated in it for years. This is my list for this year.

1. Because of my stepchild moving in with us, I’d like to give them presents in that help them decorate their new room and have more clothes (size Large) that fit. They’re into gaming, anime, and manga; some of their favorites are Pokémon, Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, Monster Hunter, The Sims 4. They’re also into Disney and Marvel. (Their favorite character is Iron Man. They also love Miles Morales.)

2. It’s cheesy but I’d like an ornament that celebrates this as the first Christmas we will have as a married couple. 

3. Anything off our registry. There are necessities and random things on it, including stuff to decorate our current living space. 

4. Gift cards for Walmart (gas and groceries), Starbucks, and Hot Topic (decor, clothes, etc. for stepchild)

5. Really soft pajamas (size 3X) like from Walmart. I don’t have much sleepwear that’s comfortable and appropriate to wear around my teenage stepchild. 

6. My favorite musician is Taylor Swift so Taylor themed stuff and Taylor merch would be awesome. 

7. I know it’s not possible to get this on here at all but: I want a full on wedding. It wouldn’t be super expensive but I want to do the dress, cake, pictures, quirky games, dancing, and celebrate with our families and friends. 

8. Another impossible thing: an apartment or house where my husband, stepchild, dachshund, and I could live without family members.
