It’s a Privilege, Not a Right
I am so sick of people responding to posts and pages on this website (and the websites of other people) thinking that it is a right that they have to post whatever they want. Yes, you have the freedom to write whatever you want, but I have the right to delete whatever you say. This is not censorship. It’s just my right to keep whatever you say off of my site. You think that because I allow questions, comments, etc. on here that you can get away with anything you want. This isn’t true. This is my site, not yours. Now if you want to be crass, then get your own website and act however you want to act there. Posting on here is a privilege that you get. I could delete the questions section and turn off comments if I wanted to to keep people from acting childish and rude. I won’t do that because doing that would just show that I’m admitting defeat to the people who choose to act so poorly.
