Pro-Life or Anti-Choice?
To be pro-life, one does not have to be anti-choice. There are plenty of pro-choice people who believe in the sanctity of life. They just believe that a person has a right to choose what happens with their body. Being anti-choice does not mean that a person is pro-life. There are some people who call themselves "pro-life", but support things like the death penalty, wars, or even bombing abortion clinics to kill off the doctors who perform abortions. These people shouldn't be considered pro-life. They claim to believe in the sanctity of life, but they're for ending the life of people they don't like. They call people who oppose them murderers, but aren't they, in essence, murderers themselves? They're supporting killing people they don't agree with. Doesn't that seem a little un- "pro-life"?
