Too Many Precincts

That’s a lot of precincts, guys.

Look what got posted today:

Yesterday, during standard election monitoring, it was discovered that poll workers distributed incorrect ballot styles in the Colbert County Board of Education District 5 Democratic Primary, according to Colbert County Probate Judge Daniel Rosser.

Rosser said steps were immediately taken to correct the mistake.

“At this time, we know that at least 23 people voted in the District 5 School Board Democrat Primary that were not entitled to do so. Why did this happen? Because of honest mistakes made by poll workers. Should this be acceptable to the citizens of Colbert County? Absolutely not,” Rosser said.

Only the outcome of the District 5 School Board Democratic primary was affected, according to Rosser. In a rare tie, both Ricky G. Saint and Brad Counce received 432 votes in the primary election.
