I tried to read this book, but just couldn’t finish. It was amazing to me that a medical doctor seemed unwilling to admit that using certain techniques (i.e. “truth serum”) to recover memories is considered shady science. It was also alarming that she seemed so convinced that the claims of Satanic ritual abuse that were so common during the 1980s were legitimate. (I would compare it to reading a book by an apologist of the Salem Witch Trials.) If you decide to read this book, please have a healthy level of skepticism while doing so.
