I don’t mean to sound callous, but…

I get sick of hearing about the victims of crimes and how this happened in their life or that happened.  That’s fine on the first day, but after that it seems like the focus should be on the criminal and what led to his or her crime.  If we focus more on what leads to murders, then we might have a better idea about how to keep them from happening in the future.
