tumblr you can make confetti fall all over my fucking dash but you can’t figure out how to make my goddamn tracked tags work?

That’s because making confetti fall all over the dash is a very simple javascript thing that people have been able to do on websites for at least 10 years.

Tracking tags requires them to understand the script-types that they’ve used to set up Tumblr and to understand how to extract them properly from the database.  It’s more complex, which is probably why they shouldn’t have gone to such a system until they fully understood how to make it work.
