30 Days of Truth: Day 10

Okay, so I guess, in theory, I’m on Day 10.  The topic for Day 10 is:

Day 10: Someone you need to let go, or wish you didn’t know.

I would say that I should probably let go of those people in my life that I tend to have the most toxic relationships with.  Of course, that is usually easier said than done.  I guess the most important one that I wish that I didn’t know is probably the first person I talked about in the post for Day 8.  I know that I definitely wish that I didn’t know her.  I think that if I were able to let go of that particular person or pretend I didn’t know her (at the very least), then my mind would be a bit more at ease.

Of course, cutting ties with family members, even ones that say that you aren’t their family, is always difficult.  She and I will always be linked by her marriage into the family and the fact that she is the mother of a member of my family.  Whether we like each other or not, those two facts will always mean that there is some link between the two of us.  With that link, it will be impossible to completely separate our lives.  Even if we never talk again, that link will always exist.
