Auburn University’s Historic Toomers Corner two 130-year-old Oak Trees were poisoned and are now dying. Somebody, and most likely an upset University of Alabama fan, poured lethal amounts of herbicide (a plant killer) on the soil around the trees. I am completely disgusted by this, me being a student at UA. The perpetrator did this right after Auburn won the National Championship in football and this week they have started to see signs the trees are indeed dying. This should no way be tolerated and I will be joining Auburn in mourning these historic, majestic symbols. Reblog to show your support!
