Here in the Philippines, (for 20 years of existence in experiencing people's dilemma about my name) I think they find it VERY difficult to say my name. I don't know why. They mispronounce it, misspell it, whatever, they just mis-something it. :(

People can be really dumb when it comes to names.  I could understand having trouble pronouncing a name that is one of those “invented” ones (one where parents come up with a name that has never existed before anywhere), but not pretty normal names.  I would think that even your names would be pretty normal.  Maybe not for your region, though.
