She Was Lost

My appointment with the ophthalmologist went relatively well yesterday. My prescription for my glasses needs to be altered a little bit. I have no idea if my eyes are getting worse or better. I just know that the difference isn’t too significant, except when I’m trying to read some things from a distance.

He gave me some new OTC eye drops. I explained to him that I was having to be careful what kind of drops I used. He thought that I was having trouble because my eyes were just extremely dry, but I finally got it across to him that it was the preservatives in some of the eye drops. (If the drops have potassium chloride, it feels like someone is burning my eye with some kind of caustic solution.)

I’ve been sleeping a lot since the test the other day. I feel like I used all of my energy reserves doing that test. Of course, part of the problem could be that I’m taking some stuff to keep from being in pain from whatever I injured during the test.

I think I have to go grocery shopping today, which I really don’t want to do. Somehow, though, my dad will convince me that he feels much worse, and he will spend that time playing Farmville and Vampire Wars.
