Nose Job, Here I Come

I went to the ENT today, and he told me the results of the long-awaited CT scan:

  • No active infection
  • Blockages in most of my sinuses
  • Deviated septum
  • Structural abnormalities/deformities (the story of my skeleton!)
  • An osteoma (benign bone tumor) in one of my sinus cavities. (I have something similar on one of my shins.)

The recommendation: surgery to fix the blockages and deviation.

Basically, I’m getting a nose job. :)

Wow, good luck with that! But at least you know what’s going on now.

True. I’m not surprised that it’s going to take surgery. He’s recommended fixing the deviated septum before (when I was about 16, I think) and he said that it would get worse over the years.

…ouch. What does the no ACTIVE infection mean? That you had one but the Doctor didn’t believe you had one? The list sounds painful…

Good luck with the surgery. When are you getting your nose job done? :)
