So many people have been talking about going Christmas shopping soon. I really wish I could do that. I love shopping for Christmas. I normally adopt a Salvation Army Angel and buy that child a bunch of gifts and stuff. Then I get my family gift certificates/cards, but last year, someone said something that upset me about that. I got all the cards from Wal-Mart, and apparently, someone didn’t like that. Well, I don’t have a lot of money, and you can get just about anything from Wal-Mart.

My name is Janet. I was born in 1984 in Alabama. I'm not a hick. I don't want to marry my cousin. I'm an average unordinary normal girl. I've got my problems, but don't we all? I have a plethora of websites, an unhealthy obsession with being entertained by vampires, a disgust for the usage of www., and a strange interest in the psychological backgrounds of sociopaths, serial killers, and mass murderers. I am a pacifist. I abhor violence, and think that it is too often condoned. This does not mean that I don't think that sometimes it is justified. I used to be a college student, and I came close to graduating at one time, but it was determined by the staff of the Social Work department at a certain HBCU (no I'm not black) that I should not be around other people due to certain issues. I continued my education for a while, and can probably be considered one of the only people to have gone to college at an almost continuous pace of full-time from 2001 until 2009, without actually receiving a diploma. I have red hair, which has strangely meant that people think they have a right to play with my hair without asking. This red hair also included the whole having very pale skin, which led to people thinking it's okay to poke me. Would that kind of thing be okay with you? I have opinions, write reviews, do advocacy, run a message board, make icons and other graphics, obsessively tweet, tumble like a weed, quote like a madwoman, take bad pictures, and do lots of other fun stuff. I like the idea of the Salvation Army Angel. That isn’t the same thing as Operation Christmas Child, is it? I’ll have to look into it…
Anyway, I don’t see the big deal in gift certificates. While I’m not crazy about Walmart, I LOVE gift certificates, because I am free to buy whatever I want or need!
