I’m a bit bummed that Ray Charles died. He was such an excellent musician. I heard that he had some kind of cancer, so maybe he isn’t suffering anymore. Still, the world will be different because he’s no longer around.

I’ve been adding more buttons/codes to Again?! today. I still have a few more episodes worth of codes to make and put up. Then, I shall be done. I just hope that some of them get used. So far it seems like all of the people who’ve joined don’t have sites. No sites means they don’t get to use the codes I’ve made. (No, it doesn’t really make me sad.)

My back hurts really bad. I think its from sitting down too long. I probably need to get up and walk around some. Maybe I ought to take a little Tylenol. That might help.

A few people who commented complained about my requiring e-mails of commenters. I require e-mails for a reason. It cuts down on some of the anonymous/harassing comments. When I used to just allow anyone to comment, I got a lot more harassing comments. I know that if you don’t fill in the e-mail thing, your comment won’t go through and it ends up deleting your comment, so you have to re-type it. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but its not that hard to type in your e-mail address. The e-mail never shows up on the site, unless you don’t put in a website, so its not like anyone will get your e-mail. I also like to have people fill in their e-mail addresses, so that I can respond to certain things privately rather than going to their blog and responding through their comments.

So, I typed up an entry yesterday about my trip to see Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Unfortunately, my IE just closed on me without any warning, so I lost the entire entry. I was too lazy to retype it. Basically, I got to see the movie. My mom and I went to see the 10 am showing, but it was sold out by the time we got there, so we got tickets to see the 10:30 showing. It was pretty good. I wish more of the book elements had been featured, but unfortunately, they were left out. I think Michael Gambon did a good job, but he’s not who I picture as Dumbledore. I still think of Richard Harris as being Dumbledore.

As you may have noticed, I titled this entry as 101. Why, you may ask. Well, let’s see, today my mom and I went to my Nana’s house. I decided to check how much weight I have lost on her scales. According to her scales, I have lost 101 pounds since last July. I now weigh 240, which is better than the 341 I was at when I had the surgery. I still need to lose at least 100 more pounds before I’m really no longer “overweight”. *keeps fingers crossed*

Ronald Reagan died today. That’s sad. I don’t know that I’m a big fan of Reagan. I don’t really remember him being President. I feel bad for his family, though. Of course, I know that with his Alzheimer’s, he had been “gone” for a while for them.

So, yesterday was the first day of the Atlantic Hurricane Season. I’m not really a fan of hurricanes, though I’ve never actually been through one. I’ve been through a tropical storm before. Typically, hurricanes don’t come to this part of the state.

Right now on TFL’s board, we’re discussing why other countries hate the US. So far its been pretty interesting. Let’s see, there’s the typical anti-Bush stuff that most folks have going on. Then, there’s the whole “Americans act like they’re better than everyone else” stuff. But perhaps the most interesting is that some folks hate America because we have so many fat people. EXCUSE ME?! People hate an entire country because there are overweight people in it. How is that right? How is that justified? How can you hate an entire nation because some people have weight problems? I had to keep from screaming when I read that comment. I just can’t believe the ignorance of some people.

Someone else said that people shouldn’t bash Bush and should support him until he’s out of office. Why? I’m not going to sugarcoat how I feel about Bush. I mean, I don’t hate him, but I’m not going to lie and say that I like the man. (I should be given bonus points for not hating the guy.) I’m also not going to back him when he’s only backing the rich, white, straight, Christian men in this country. Why should I have to back a man who I disagree with? That would be being dishonest and wrong.

Anyways…I didn’t go vote yesterday. The Democratic candidates were (for the most part) uncontested. I couldn’t force myself to vote for Republicans. Unfortunately, Tom Parker got the nomination. Why? He’s not qualified. He’s only going to be a lap dog for Roy Moore. He’s probably going to end up causing more problems than he’s worth. So, why did people vote for him?

I made it so you can ask me questions without going to the Q&A page. I hope people don’t abuse this feature, but I hope people begin to ask more questions.
